Application for Investment
Services Licence
An
applicant must complete a standard application form and must submit a Business
Profile, a Financial Resources Statement -including an opening balance
sheet and three-year financial projections as well as Individual Questionnaires
for key personnel.
In
considering an application for an investment services licence, the MFSC
will take into account whether the applicant is a "fit and proper" person
to provide the investment services, whether the applicant satisfies the
licensing requirements, whether the applicant will comply with and observe
applicable rules and regulations, the track record of the applicant and
associated persons, and the nature of the proposed business. The
"fit and proper" test is satisfied by demonstrating integrity, competence
and solvency. |
