The
Investment Services Act requires MFSC approval of advertising and promotional
activity relating to the sale of investment services instruments.
The MFSC Guidelines prohibit advertising that is unclear, contains an untrue
or misleading statement or is likely to cause misunderstanding by the public.
An advertisement should be clearly identifiable as an advertisement, indicate
the sponsor of the advertisement and disclose the risks associated with
the investment that is the subject of the advertisement. |
