Under
the Investment Services Act, sponsors can create open- and closed-end funds,
venture capital funds, real estate funds, futures and options funds, as
well as master-feeder structures and funds that offer multiple classes
of shares with respect to a common investment portfolio. The Hague
Convention for the Recognition of Trusts, now adopted by Malta, allows
Collective Investment Schemes to set up as unit trusts under foreign legal
regulations. |
